When I created my shop, I wanted to give everyone that little bit of happiness. Seeing the things we used to love as children and even now as adults.
2024 was a year of changes. BIG changes. My partner and I of almost 9 years split. I moved to another state with my children and then came the health issues. I have poly cystic ovarian syndrome, it's a terrible condition that doctors don't really tell you much besides to lose weight. I began just that, along with weight gain, PCOS causes irregular periods.
After the move and trying to settle into my new life, I started to bleed and it wasn't stopping. So, doctors mentioned the possibility of Cervical Cancer. I freaked.. no one wants to hear the C word. I had a procedure done and even had the birth control Mirena during this doctors appointment. I couldn't stop bleeding, I was so tired. I didn't have the strength to do much. I wanted to focus on the shop, I had ideas flooding but I just couldn't do it.
Results, I didn't have cervical cancer (..yay) but why am I still bleeding? Doctors finally listened to me after it was getting much worse. My White Blood Cell counts were abnormal, my blood pressure was very low and I could barely function. Luckily they got the Mirena out and I've lined out. There might be the case of me having Ovarian Cancer but that is still in the works.
Then came my parents. My dad had a heart attack, he wears a monitor now and is recovering. A couple months later, my mother was diagnosed with Lung cancer. They removed some of her lung. They were able to get it all but after a closer look 95% was lung cancer but another 5% came from somewhere else and they are still investigating it.
But good things were I married to an amazing man back in November 2024 and for this year, I'm motivated to get back to what brings me passion. This shop.. I appreciate everyone's patience with me. I can't wait to get more energy to redo the website and make everything amazing for you all.
